Mindset is the established set of attitudes held by someone and from observations and even research, ones mindset determines the actions and reaction they have to issues in their lives. For instance, if a man will succeed at a business, it is a function of his mindset as that propels him to take decisions that will ensure that he succeeds and if failure is looming around the corner, it is because that person has allowed it to happen.

According to Steve Maraboli in Life, the Truth, and Being Free, “Once your mindset changes, everything on the outside will change along with it.” To make those changes, use this 5 tips which we got off Yvonne Ruke Akpoveta’s book, ‘The Change You Want! CHANGE YOUR MINDSET AND CHANGE YOUR LIFE’.

Have a desire

You need to find out what you really have a passion for and let that engulf you. It is easier to have a winning mindset when you have a desire. That way, you can run with it passionately.

Analyse your desires

Many have desires but it is vague and floats somewhere in their head. It is important to put it on paper or somewhere as I have found it easy to even run with something I have written down so that I can go back to check that, that thing is done. So, write out what your desires are and make a SMART analysis of those desires.

Act on your desires

Now that you know what you want, begin to act on it. Make a conscious effort to change all that you need to change and do not let sentiments get in the way. You need to succeed. Therefore do all that it takes.

I recommend the Yvonne Ruke Akpoveta’s book as it gives you the opportunity to nibble on some tips all in one place and without having to read an encyclopaedia.
