GTB’s Instagram account
seems more like a lifestyle account rather than one belonging to a bank. They seem to stick to the social media marketing rule of 80% interaction and 20% marketing. Some of their innovative concepts are #TalentTuesdays where they feature the works of one of their talented customers. However, my favourite is Thursday’s #SocialMedia101 which I as a new media expert still gets to gain a lot of insights from. Give a creative man a good work environment and the right tools and watch him perform wonders. Kudos to the social media team at GTBank. They’ve really done a lot to position the brand as one you’d love.
